What to expect at McCallum Chiropractic, Inc. in Delta

At McCallum Chiropractic, Inc., we care for your entire family

On your first visit to McCallum Chiropractic, Inc., we’ll get to know you, let you know if we can help, and we will answer any questions you may have. And in most cases, we’ll adjust you on that same day.

We’ll set expectations clearly from day one. We’re here to help relieve your pain, help identify the cause, and get you started on your path to feeling better.

Your First Visit, Step by Step

When you arrive to our office, we’ll take care of your new patient paperwork and make sure all of your questions are answered. Then it’s time to meet Dr. McCallum to discuss your health history so he can get to know you and your health needs. And he’ll explain the entire process for you ahead of time so you always know what to expect.

Then it’s time for an examination. Dr. McCallum will examine your area of complaint plus perform a full spine overview. This information is put together with the history to develop a working assessment. At this time, Dr. McCallum will discuss his initial recommendations for your care and healing. On your second visit, a more in depth report of findings is provided, outlining the course of treatment and lifestyle issues that may affect your recovery.

This first visit will last between 30 and 45 minutes.

Routine Visits

On regular visits to our office, you’ll be guided to a treatment room after being greeted and welcomed. There, you’ll discuss how you’re doing with Dr. McCallum. He will do a short exam to check on your health since your last visit and then it’s time for your adjustment and recommendations for care.

Your routine visits should last no more than 10 or 15 minutes.

Why Continue with Chiropractic Care?

We see chiropractic care as preventive care. Just like a dentist helps keep your teeth healthy, a chiropractor helps the body perform at its optimal best. People see the dentist because they want to have their teeth when they’re older; the same goes for a healthy spine.

After the age of 65, 80% of people have degenerative changes in their spine. If they start visiting a chiropractor early in life, the spine will stay stronger and healthier, longer.

At McCallum Chiropractic, Inc. we take the utmost care to keep you healthy for a long, healthy life.
